Topics course. May be repeated once with a different topic.
Enrollment limited to 25: In March of 2012, an initiative known as Women at Arts was launched in Buenos Aires. With a name based on the well-known phrase “men at arms,” it aims to use artistic innovation to initiate a debate over issues too often subject to an unbalanced approach. Mujeres de Artes Tomar dramatizes ideas related to gender, focuses on women as creators, and explores art as an instrument of social transformation. The course will move thematically. Dramatic, musical, visual, and poetic texts will be staged, each with a distinct focus and drawn from various disciplines. No previous acting experience needed. This course meets the writing requirement for the SPN Major.
