This course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to pursue deeper understanding about education, teaching, school reform and educational policy after completing an intensive January apprenticeship in a school or educational setting. We will examine how educators can better harness what is known in the research, practice, and policy arenas to ensure that all youth thrive. This course is open to all Five College students who have done the Urban Education January internship program (Mindich Fellowship). (E)
