This is a course in intuitive geometry and topology, with an emphasis on hands-on exploration and developing the visual imagination. Topics may include knots, geometry and topology of surfaces and the Gauss-Bonnet Theorem, symmetries, wallpaper patterns in Euclidean, spherical and hyperbolic geometries, and an introduction to 3-dimensional manifolds. Prerequisites: MTH 211 and 212 or permission of the instructor.
