An interdisciplinary introduction to Canada taught by Canadian Smith College faculty. Canada was the United States' best friend with the longest undefended border in the world until it was recently taunted to become the 51st state and threatened with a trade war. What, if anything, distinguishes Canadian identities from American? In each weekly session, faculty present a short lecture and then engage in dialogue with the course moderator and students.
