This hands-on proteomics research course utilizes state-of-the-art mass spectrometry and proteomics techniques in student/faculty-designed projects. The lecture periods are used for experimental design, discussion of relevant literature, and primers on mass spectrometry data analysis and other related topics, as well as starting experimental protocols that require longer time periods. Prerequisites: BCH 252 and BCH 253. Enrollment limited to 12. Instructor permission required.
Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
