Neuropsychology is the study of brain-behavior relationships. Clinical neuropsychology is the application of this knowledge to assess and treat persons with neurological, medical, and psychiatric disorders. In this course, we will read autobiographical and fictional accounts of neurologic and mental illness and learn how they relate to brain structure and function. No prior knowledge of brain function is necessary.
