Course description not available at this time.
Open to Graduate students in the College of Engineering only. Covers thermal, electrical, and optical energy transport and conversion mechanisms at the nanoscale. Includes a parallel treatments of photons, electrons, phonons, and molecules as energy carriers. Develops a fundamental understanding and descriptive tools for energy and heat transport processes from nanoscale continuously to macroscale.
Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
