Polymer Science & Engineering 797PA - ST-Paint

We could write a very long list of methods for coating solid objects with layers of other materials. Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), Plasma-Enhance Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) and Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) might be on this list. So might Thermal Spray Coating, Hot Dip Galvanization, Electroless Deposition and Anodization. So too might be Powder Coating, Gravure Printing and Spray Painting. We will begin to write this list and schedule how we will "flesh it out" with seminars over the semester.

This will be a seminar-based course that will meet first on February 13 at 4PM.
