This course examines the world of work through a sociological lens. It explores the ways that managers and the state have aimed to organize work, how workers have responded individually and collectively to working conditions, how work structures shape inequalities, and ideas and practices to balance family, work, and leisure. Pre Req: 100 or 200 lvl SOCIOL
