Moroccan Arabic II is offered in a special independent study format through the Five College Center for the Study of World Languages. The course develops speaking and listening skills in colloquial Moroccan Arabic. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions with a native speaker and a final evaluation by an outside evaluator. In order to enroll in this course, students must have completed Moroccan Arabic I or the equivalent. Students studying Moroccan Arabic develop skills needed for study abroad in Morocco or other countries of North Africa and to support course work in Middle Eastern, African, and International Studies.
