Honors College 195J - GW-VeteranScholars:Transitions

Veteran Scholars is a tailored course for veterans and military service members joining the UMass community as students. The purpose of the course is two-fold: first, the course is a first exposure to the small class size and quality instruction available to students who join the Commonwealth Honors College; second, the course picks up where the TAP program ends and serves as a transition medium for veterans reintegrating into civilian society. Theoretical and practical application coursework will help veterans maximize their educational experience at UMass-Amherst. This course meets twice weekly for the first seven weeks of the semester.
