This course exposes the learner to theoretical concepts, practical skills and approaches that are integral to nutrition education. Students will be introduced to learning and communication styles, methods of conducting needs assessments in diverse environments and use of a framework for planning, designing, delivering and evaluating a nutrition education project. Students will conduct regular nutrition education projects in the field outside of class time.
Pre Req: NUTRITN 230 Students must have either already taken or be concurrently enroll in NUTRITN 352.
