Theater 393L - S-Fndm/Vectorworks&Lightwright

This course will familiarize students with Vectorworks, a Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) program used by theatre designers. In this course, students will learn beginning and intermediate use of the program. Our approach will be slanted towards theatrical drafting techniques, tools, and standards in the lighting area. Students will also learn the fundamentals of Lightwright, a spreadsheet and database program used specifically to manage lighting design paperwork.
