Education 210 - Social Diversity in Education

Focus on issues of social identity, social and cultural diversity, and societal manifestations of oppression. Draws on interdisciplinary perspectives of social identity development, social learning theory, and sociological analyses of power and privilege within broad social contexts. (Gen.Ed. I, U)

All sections will be meeting in their respective rooms assigned except the following Tuesdays -- 2/11/2014, 3/11/2014, 4/1/2014, 4/8/2104 , 4/22/2014 when all sections will be meeting together in the Mark's Meadow Auditorium.
Open to 20 Freshmen students & 10 Sophomore students only.
