Education H497I - Honors Colloq EDUC 497I

This colloq will consist of weekly meetings and preparation for working in the Mark?s Meadow Elementary School After School Program. Preparation of activities for Elementary School students in a Writing Club to include tips and tools to better their writing and expand their creative imagination.

The one credit honors colloquium is offered to undergraduate students enrolled in EDUC 497I, Tutoring in Schools. A service learning/community engagement experience for students planning to be K-12 teachers or other professionals in schools, it provides opportunities to understand conditions faced by culturally and linguistically diverse students trying to learn and succeed in schools.

Students must be enrolled in EDUC 497I - Tutoring in Schools.
