The complex social and cultural interactions that can lead to violence. We will begin by examining various theories of human violence from a number of disciplines: anthropology, psychology, and sociology. Some sections of this course may carry a community service learning component requiring students to simultaneously enroll in a one-credit honors service learning colloquium. (Gen.Ed. I, U)
This course is open to Senior, Junior, and Sophmore Commonwealth College students only.
