Learning Objectives: To be able to identify native New England woody plant species. To know the morphology, distribution, habitat, ecology, and economic importance of these species. To understand how morphology, life history, and ecology are related to habitat and distribution of woody plants. To understand the major processes of disturbance and succession and their effects on the composition, structure, economic, and wildlife value of tree communities.
This class will meet with ECO 697PC Plant Community Ecology to determine a compatible meeting pattern for all students enrolled on Monday, September 21, 2015.
