The course builds on communication skills learned in American Sign Language I and II. Students will learn to communicate appropriately in a wider range of interpersonal situations while increasing fluency and comprehension.

The program format follows a standard format for Five College Mentored Language courses. Students will meet for a weekly 90-minute small group session with the language mentor for the course. Students will be expected to devote an additional one hour a day to homework and individual practice.
