Basic professional and paraprofessional skills of applied behavior analysis. Topics include: goals and objectives, observational recordings, ethics, selection of procedures; increasing, teaching, and reducing behavior via positive procedures; evaluation. Prerequisites: introductory psychology and consent of instructor.
Pre Req: PSYCH 100 or 110 This course is only open to students in the Specialization in Developmental Disabilities and Human Services Program. After registration has been open for a month, other students may seek permission from the instructor to enroll. Prerequisite may be waived for non-Psych majors. Non-DDHS students seeking permission to enroll can email awoodman@umass.edu.
