Have you heard about the new UMass STEM Ambassadors program? Are you interested in joining our growing community of STEM scholars? This one credit seminar course is the core of our program. The workshops offered in this weekly seminar are designed to prime you for a position in a research lab on campus. By enrolling in this course you will join our current cohort of Ambassadors and participate in workshops given in conjunction with campus partners (i.e. LRC, CMASS). Through these workshops, you will strengthen the transferable skills needed to succeed in STEM coursework, the laboratory, and beyond while building connections with student support services, graduate student mentors and faculty research programs on campus. Some topics covered include; dissecting research seminars, goal setting, time management, networking, study skills, resume help, skills, and public speaking.
Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
