Legal Studies H494DI - Honors Colloq/LEGAL 494DI

This honors section of Environmental and Public Policy Dispute Resolution provides students with the opportunity to participate throughout the semester in a seminar setting for more in depth discussions analyzing specific disputes and mechanisms for their resolution. Students will undertake independent research on particular mechanisms or cases decided in conjunction with the instructor and classmates will explore together the implications of their collective findings. Likely areas of concentration include: the role of technology in the growth and handling of public disputes, ethical issues faced by dispute interveners, and specific dispute resolution designs and mechanisms.
