Sociology 791P - S-Making Research Public

In this seminar, intended for sociology graduate students as well as graduate students in other disciplines, we look at different philosophies and ways of using research to effect change in the word; we examine case studies of successful "public sociology," as well as of successful cases from other disciplines; and we cover a variety of skills researchers can use to make their research public.
