Computer Science 325 - Intro/Human-Comp Interaction

In this course we examine the important problems in Usability, Human Computer Interaction, User Interfaces, and Human Centered Computing. We will examine elements of HCI history, human information processing capabilities, HCI design, user interface prototyping methods and new applications and directions in human computer interaction.

Open to Seniors & Juniors only. 25 SEATS RESERVED FOR CS MAJORS. 10 SEATS HELD FOR INFORMATICS (BDIC) MAJORS. IN ADDITION TO REQUESTING AN OVERRIDE, FIVE COLLEGE STUDENTS WISHING TO ENROLL MUST FIRST SUBMIT A BRIEF STATEMENT OF INTEREST TO THE INSTRUCTOR, AND A BRIEF LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FROM THEIR ADVISOR.
