Introduces students to the principal activities involved in developing high-quality software systems. Topics include: requirements analysis, formal specification methods, process definition, software design, and risk management.
Open to junior and senior CMPSCI students who have completed CMPSCI 320 with a grade of 'C' or better. LECT 01 FOR UNDERGRADS; LECT 02 FOR GRADS. 10 SEATS HELD IN LECT 02 FOR INCOMING STUDENT REGISTRATION. MEETS WITH COMPSCI 620.
