Introduction to neuroscience emphasizing the control, sensation, and perception related to human movement. Topics include a general overview of issues in motor control and a review of Central Nervous System (CNS) organization; basic CNS building blocks underlying movement control and perception; application to the control of balance and locomotion in development, aging, and disease; mechanisms of brain plasticity in development, learning, and rehabilitation.
Sr KIN Majors KIN100,110,270, 272 w/ C- If you cannot register through SPIRE and want to petition the instructor for enrollment in the course, do the following: 1) go to 110 Totman Building and pick up a "Course Override Form" 2) fill the form out. 3) attach transcript to Course Override Form and leave them both in the Instructor's mailbox (also located in 110 Totman). 4) if your request is approved the course will be added to your schedule. Lab sections do not meet until the second week of classes.

Pre Requisite: KIN 100, (KIN 270, 3 cr. and 271, 1 cr. or KIN 270, 4 cr.), and (KIN 272, 3 cr. and 273, 1 cr. or KIN 272, 4 cr.).
Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
