Introduction to mental retardation; its psychological, sociological, educational, biomedical, and legal aspects. Prerequisite: introductory psychology.
Registration is only open to students in the Specialization in Developmental Disabilities and Human Services Program for the first month of registration. After that time, other students may register with instructor's permission. Prerequisites may be waived for non-Psych majors. ALL students should email ddhs@umass.edu to register for this course. You cannot register through SPIRE.
Permission is required for interchange registration during all registration periods.
