Basic professional and paraprofessional skills of applied behavior analysis. Topics include: goals and objectives, observational recordings, ethics, selection of procedures; increasing, teaching, and reducing behavior via positive procedures; evaluation. Prerequisites: introductory psychology and consent of instructor.
Registration is only open to students in the Specialization in Developmental Disabilities and Human Services Program for the first month of registration. After that time, other students may register with instructor's permission. Prerequisites may be waived for non-Psych majors. ALL students should email ddhs@umass.edu to register for this course. You cannot register through SPIRE.
