Animal Science 391C - Biotech Resrch-Cell & Molec II

This course is a 2 credit discovery-based research tutorial experience emphasizing cellular and molecular approaches. In addition to assisting with research under the direction of your Faculty Sponsor, students will be expected to attend three one hour seminars with instructor of record to receive instruction in research methodologies.

Students will be responsible for a presenting a poster detailing their work by posting it on Science Day at the end of the spring semester. Oral presentation in lab optional.

Identify a lab to work in, meet with Faculty sponsor to discuss research expectations and complete Biotech Research contract. Forward completed Biotech Research contract to mschneider@vasci.umass.edu to be enrolled.
