This course will consist of three case study modules. Each module is a real-world problem that integrates knowledge from a biological, social, political, and economic perspective. Students are expected to transfer their knowledge from the broader General Education training into specific real-world issues.
This courses satisfies the IE requirement for PLSOILIN majors.
Open to Seniors and Juniors majoring in Biochemistry; Environmental Science; Microbiology; Plant, Soil and Insect Sciences; Sustainable Food and Farming; Sustainable Horticulture; and Turfgrass Science and Mgmt. BIOLOGY 151 or STOCKSCH 108 This course will be open to juniors and seniors only in the Biochem and Molecular Bio.
