Basic professional and paraprofessional skills of applied behavior analysis. Topics include: goals and objectives, observational recordings, ethics, selection of procedures; increasing, teaching, and reducing behavior via positive procedures; evaluation. Prerequisites: introductory psychology and consent of instructor.
Pre Req: PSYCH 100 or 110 Registration is only open to students in the Specialization in DDHS Program for the first month of registration. Other students may seek permission after that time. Prerequisites may be waived for non-Psych majors. ALL students should email ddhs@umass.edu to register for this course. You cannot register through SPIRE.
