This course responds to the need for knowledge, business planning and communication skills for emerging leaders in the evolving business megatrend of Sustainability. It teaches a proven method in business today of developing and delivering a quick convincing business plan that will engage, educate and entice potential stakeholders and investors to provide commitment, capital or resources for projects with impact. Given the introductory nature of the course it would also benefit those who want to learn the basics of formalized planning for any application as a keystone for career development or for application in future sustainable business opportunities. This course is not based on case studies, it is based on real life. Each student will be asked to identify a sustainability-based opportunity of personal interest to them that considers sustainability?s Triple Bottom Line of People, Planet and Profit and build a quick, convincing business plan around it that they can present with clarity and confidence.
