Communication 297FF - ST- Fashion and Film

This course offers an introduction to fashion in and on film. It provides a historical, thematic, and international overview (including Hollywood), with a focus on filmic representations of fashion, clothing, and the body. The class format combines lecture, screening, and discussion.

Students are also welcome to simultaneously register for Comm 296F film festival colloquium (1 credit, pass/fail), since the fall 2017 film festival theme will be related to fashion.
