A brief introduction to the C programming language for students with a good working knowledge of Java and data structures. This course is good preparation for COMPSCI 230 and courses that use C and C++. Prerequisites: COMPSCI 187 or ECE 242 or permission of instructor. This course is for Computer Science minors and majors only, but it does not count towards either degree.
Open to freshmen & sophomore Computer Science students. COMPSCI 187 or ECE 242 w/ C STUDENTS WHO HAVE TAKEN COMPSCI 230 ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS COURSE. COURSE RUNS FOR 6 WEEKS (9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, and 10/18).
