Introduction to the economics of markets and market economies. Basic concepts of demand, supply, production, prices, allocation of resources, and distribution of income. Public policy applications. (Gen.Ed. SB)
Open to students in Isenberg Business Leadership in Society and Isenberg Business in a Global Society Fellows RAPs only. Econ 103-07 is blended with Econ 103-02, 103-03, 103-04, 103-05, 103-06, and 103-08. Econ 103-02 meets Mondays in ILC N151 and will have access to online videos of the Wednesday lectures. Econ 103-03, 103-04, 103-05, 103-06, 103-07, and 103-08 meet Wednesdays in ILC N151 and will have access to online videos of the Monday lectures. Students will meet in a weekly discussion section as well.
