Managerial accounting for non-accountants. Focus is on the use of accounting information to improve planning and control activities in business enterprises. Topics include determining the costs of products and services, assessing product and project profitability, and budgeting and monitoring costs and profits. Prerequisite: ACCOUNTG 221.
This course is open to Senior, Junior and Sophomore Isenberg BBA majors, Hospitality & Tourism Management majors, Resource Economics majors with Managerial Economics subplans, and Contracting Departments-3 only. ACCOUNTG 221 This course is NOT intended for accounting majors. The course requires a combination of online lectures/activities and classroom activities scheduled below as lab sections. The online lecture component of the course is done outside of class within well-defined windows of several days each. This course is NOT through Continuing and Professional Education. We DO MEET the first week of classes. See the syllabus before enrolling late.
