This course provides students with hands-on marketing experience. Students will be organized into departments as part of an advertising agency and will work on the advertising and/or promotions strategy for a specific client. (The specific client will vary year-to-year.) Together, the class will research, design, present, and execute a custom-made solution for the client. This can include an advertising campaign, on-campus promotional event, public relations campaign, direct marketing campaign, an interactive web-based campaign, etc. Note that this course will require significant work outside of class. Interested students must submit an application to be considered for the course. Applications are available from the marketing department office or by e-mailing Prof. Miller.
Senior and Junior MARKETNG majors only. Pre Req: MARKETING 301 The preferred prerequisite is MK301, MK412, and MK422
Permission is required for interchange registration during all registration periods.
