Knowledge of dietary treatment of diseases (Medical Nutrition Therapy) applied in simulated one-on-one counseling settings. Topics include: interviewing/listening skills, assessing readiness, developing care plans, multicultural counseling, computerized diet analysis.
Open to Seniors only. PreReq:NUTR 352 & 480 In spring semester, NUTRITN 585 is open to Dietetics track and Graduate students only.
Students in all Nutrition major tracks may enroll in NUTRITN 595 in fall semesters.
Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
