Computer Science 591M - S-Bioinformatics & Comp Bio

This seminar will be a combination of hands-on projects and seminar paper reviews. We will discuss how to manipulate most -omics datasets and review papers relevant to the fields of bioinformatics and computational biology. This course may count as an Outside Elective for the BS-CS.

MS-CMPSCI students only STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A BACKGROUND IN PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES LIKE PYTHON OR C AS WELL AS SCRIPTING LANGUAGES LIKE PERL, AWK, OR BASH.
