Mathematics 797RT - ST-Intro/Representation Theory

Linear representations of groups allow one to study arbitrary groups using matrix groups and linear algebra. This course will cover the fundamentals of the representation theory of finite groups, including character theory, induced representations and applications to the study of classes of finite groups.
