French Studies 285 - Language Suite Conversation

Course taught in French. Designed as part of the living-learning community in Thatcher Language House. Improves knowledge of the French language with emphasis on oral skills. Builds vocabulary, develops ability to understand and communicate more freely in the language by focusing on social and cultural issues.

Thatcher House French Language Program students only. Class open to Thatcher residents as well as non-Thatcher UMass students. Students who are not Thatcher residents need to contact the French and Francophone undergraduate advisor in order to register for this class. The class meets one evening per week at Thatcher Hall. Precise meeting time will be determined at the start of classes.
