Basic chain saw use and safety, including directional felling, bucking, and limbing trees; notch and back cuts; using wedges; cutting branches and trunks under tension.

This course is open to students enrolled in the Urban Forestry concentration in the NRC major and to Stockbridge students in the Arboriculture and Community Forestry Management (ARCF) major. Pre Req: NRC 232 Additional fees are associated with this section.
