An exploration of computer science for first-year CICS students, focusing on a single topic.
Open to first-year Computer Science majors and students in the CICS Exploratory Track. REGISTRATION AVAILABLE ONLY DURING SUMMER ORIENTATION.
Sections 01, 04, 06, 07, 11, 13, and 16 will address What Makes a Good Computer Scientist? Sections 02 and 14 will address Great Women in Computing: Past, Present, and Future. Section 03 will address Law and Computer Science. Sections 05, 08, 12, and 15 will address Computer Science Brain Teasers. Sections 09 and 10 will address The Technological Singularity.
ADDITIONAL SECTIONS ON OTHER TOPICS MAY BE ADDED DURING THE SUMMER.
