Modern Irish I is the first part of a four-part elementary course sequence in Modern Irish (also known as Irish Gaelic). The course is offered through the Five College Supervised Independent Language Program. The independent study format includes small group conversation sessions and an evaluation by an outside evaluator. Students studying Modern Irish develop speaking and listening skills useful for study abroad in Ireland and to support course work in Celtic Studies.
Students must apply to add this course; Contact the Five College Center for the Study of World Languages for details: fivecolleges.edu/fclang
