Students can receive PUBHLTH 398 credits for completing a public health internship. In order to receive credits for an internship, students must observe the following requirements:
All internships must be approved by the Undergraduate Program Director, Dr. Gloria DiFulvio
Students must have previously completed a minimum of 60 credits
Students must currently hold a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Once you get hired for an internship, you must complete the Internship Application outlining responsibilities, time commitments, and goals. Please submit the completed form to the Program Director, Dr. Gloria DiFulvio for review. For the application and information on finding internships, please visit the public health website: http://www.umass.edu/sphhs/public-health/career-development/internships
Section 2 is primarily for students who have previously done an internship. While there is no moodle component, students are required to write a final paper.
