There are many pathways to success in college and we encourage students to map out their own way to get there. This class will help incoming students define their individual goals and connect them to the resources needed to achieve them. It will also help students understand the vital nature of the fields within social and behavioral sciences and how SBS majors, and a range of other options at UMass, can open many doors.
Open to students in the SBS Connect RAP in Pierpont. This class will be taught in a residential classroom.

As members of this RAP students will:
~Participate in activities and exercises to explore UMass resources and opportunities
~Connect with fellow students and the instructor as you become a contributing member of the community, both at UMass and beyond
~Start planning your individual academic goals and pathways toward achieving them
~Explore the different majors in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and start thinking like a social scientist
~Identify and connect with resources and opportunities around campus, the 5-college consortium, and the Pioneer Valley
~Develop the academic and self-care skills you need to be successful in college
Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
