Open to first-year SBS students (include direct admits to all SBS majors and Exploratory Track SBS students) This course will introduce students to areas of study related to Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning: the social, aesthetic, community and environmental perspectives on sustainability within the fields of planning and design. In addition, the course will help new students to define a pathway in their careers as UMass students in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences. They will become familiar with SBS basics, personal and academic skills, and the available resources at the University.
