Preparation and uses of financial statements of business enterprises; the accounting process of recording, classifying, and interpreting business transactions. Conceptual problems analyzed include accounting for inventories, depreciation, and capital stock.
This course is open to Sophomore, Junior and Senior majors in the School of Management, Contracting Departments-3, Resource Economics majors, and Stockbridge School of Agriculture students only. Section 3 of Accounting 221 is for Actuarial Math majors only.
