This course will focus on how physical health affects and is affected by psychological processes in late life. A biopsychosocial approach will examine leading theories of aging and their application to specific topics relevant to health of older adults. At the end of the course, students will have a grasp of the role that aging plays in the mind-body dynamic, and how changing psychological processes affect older persons' health behaviors.
Open to Senior and Junior Psychology majors only.
