School of Public Policy 597ML - ST-Adv Makerspace Ldrhshp

This course is designed to provide students an opportunity to continue to design, develop, test, implement, manage and lead a "makerspace" project that they started in a "sister" course, SPP 597M. A final deliverable could be implementing a workshop on one weekend or across multiple weekends at a local nonprofit organization in Amherst, Holyoke andor Springfield, or a presentation on the progress you've made on the project you've signed up to work on. An underlying goal is to help UMass build an emerging "makerspace network" on campus, so your presentation may be done in conjunction with that effort.
