Design of devices with strongly interacting components and functions. General principles and methods discussed. Design of specific assemblies, e.g., gearboxes and positioners explored in depth through a design project. Prerequisite: M&I-ENG 313.
Open to Mechanical Engineering majors only. Pre Req: M&I-ENG 313
